Mula
"The root"
Mula is investigative and uncompromising — it digs to the root of things, often by dismantling what's on the surface first, which can look like destruction before it's understood as clearing ground.

You have to dig before you can see it — Mula's real work happens underground, out of sight.
Why is it called Mula?
Its name, "the root," points directly to getting to the foundation of a matter. Its deity Nirriti, goddess of dissolution and destruction, reflects the nakshatra's willingness to tear something down entirely if that's what it takes to reach what's real underneath.
