Shraddha Tithi Calculator
Find the Hindu tithi prevailing at the time of a family member's death, so you can perform their Annual Shraddha on the correct Hindu date every year.
Shraddha is the Hindu ritual of honouring a departed family member on the Hindu tithi (lunar date) they passed away, rather than on the Gregorian calendar date. Because a tithi falls on a different Gregorian date each year, families need to look up which day the tithi recurs on before performing the annual rites. This calculator finds that tithi from the date and time of death, and shows both the Annual Shraddha day and the Mahalaya Shraddha day that falls within Pitru Paksha — the 16-day window devoted to ancestor worship.
