Abhijit Muhurat
Available today — the universal auspicious window
New Delhi, India
New Delhi, India mein aaj Abhijit Muhurat 11:42 AM se 12:28 PM tak hai. Yeh din ka sabse shubh madhyahn samay maana jaata hai aur naye kaam, kagaz par hastakshar ya yatra shuru karne ke liye use kiya jaata hai.
The day from sunrise to sunset is traditionally divided into 15 equal Muhurats (each roughly 48 minutes long). The 8th of these — falling right around local solar noon — is called Abhijit Muhurat, meaning "the unconquered hour."
It is considered the single most universally auspicious Muhurat of the day, strong enough to override many of the day's other doshas. Because the Sun is at its peak strength (highest in the sky) during this window, it is traditionally used to start new ventures, sign important documents, or begin journeys — with marriage being the one major exception it's not typically used for.
Abhijit Muhurat is not observed on Wednesdays in most Panchang traditions, since it overlaps with the day's Dur Muhurta (an inherently inauspicious period), effectively cancelling it out.
